The bulk thermal analysis is accomplished with the numerical analysis of the temperature run of the solidifying melt sample - the cooling curve

-  yielding the solidification rate to determine  the actual solidification properties of the melt.

 

 

The Bulk Thermal Analysis is capable to determine the amounts of the constitutional phases, micro and macro crystalline structure, chemical composition variations in the grains, grain size and their orientation.
